Fèlix Massana Ràfols is a family-run winery located in Sant Pau d’Ordal, in Alt Penedès, right in the heart of Catalonia’s wine-growing region. The history of this winery dates back several generations of winegrowers who have maintained a deep respect for the land and a passion for producing quality wines and cavas, combining tradition with the latest innovations in viticulture.

The Estate

Surrounded by idyllic vineyards rolling across the hills of Alt Penedès, the estate lies in an area renowned for its distinctive geography and climate, offering exceptional conditions for grape growing. This natural setting plays a key role in shaping the distinctive character of Fèlix Massana Ràfols wines and cavas, with the microclimate, limestone soils and altitude directly influencing the quality of the grapes.

The Winery

The winery is firmly committed to organic farming, with a sustainable, environmentally friendly approach to viticulture. The grapes are carefully selected to ensure the highest quality, and the winery works with both native and international varieties that are perfectly suited to the region. Among the most notable varieties they grow are Xarel·lo, a white grape that brings freshness and structure to their wines, and Merlot, which is blended with other varieties such as Syrah to produce red wines with a distinctive character.

Wine tourism

We offer a wine tourism experience that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the process behind the creation of our wines and cavas. Guided tours of the vineyards and winery offer visitors the chance to see first-hand the Massana family’s day-to-day work and, of course, to taste their excellent wines and cavas.
