The winery Felix Massana Rafols is a familiar cellar based in Sant Pau d’Ordal, in the region of l’Alt Penedès, in the midst of the winegrowing region of Catalonia. The story of this winery dates back to several generations of wine growers who have maintained a deep respect for the land and a passion for producing wines and cavas of quality, combining tradition with the latest innovations in viticulture.

The property is surrounded by landscapes of idyllic vineyards that are spread over the mountains of the Alt Penedès region, an area known for its own unique geography and climate that provides special conditions for the cultivation of grapes. This natural environment is one of the keys to the distinctive character of the wines and cavas of Felix Massana Rafols, as the microclimate, the lands of limestone, and the altitude directly influence the quality of the fruit.

the Cellar

The winery firmly believes in organic agriculture, with a crop that is sustainable and respectful of the environment. The grapes used are selected carefully to ensure the highest quality, and the winery works with varieties that are international and adapted perfectly to the region. The varieties most outstandingly grown are the Xarel·lo, a white grape that brings freshness and structure to the wines, and Merlot, which is combined with other varieties such as Syrah to produce red wines with a unique personality.

Wine tourism

We offer an experience-driven tourism that allows visitors to immerse themselves in the process of creation of their products. Guided tours through the vineyards and the facilities of the winery are a great opportunity to see first-hand the daily work of the family Massana and, of course, taste their excellent wines and cavas.
